This was my favorite course in the entire program simply because I love creative writing and this allowed me to do so. I think it’s so interesting how you can convey a story to the viewer in so many different ways.
I really enjoyed how this class covered a large range of media, as we analyzed and broke down everything from video games to foreign films. My favorite project was when we were tasked with writing a paper to dissect a music video. I chose one of my favorite songs by Billie Eilish called Happier than Ever. I think often there is so much more than what meets the eye and I think this music video makes that concept Evelyn when you really take the time to dissect it. I enjoyed this course because I thought that it helped me do a better job at telling the story our my capstone project in our final emerge presentation.
